If the registration email has not appeared in your inbox then it is very likely it may have been picked up my one of your corporates’ many spam filters. First off check your junk mail if you can’t see it in there, the best thing to do is contact your IT department and ask them to locate and release the mail to you.

In the event that neither yourself nor your IT department can locate the mail we would recommend you fill out the contact us section and one of our team will contact you.

The vehicle details listed do not match the pictures

AVA advert data is OCR’d to try and extract a registration number from the picture. Unfortunately, OCR is not 100% perfect and we are reliant on the pictures style taken by the seller. There are some rare cases therefore, where an incorrect registration number is identified. In this instance please let us know so we can correct the error.

There are no pictures displayed in my result

In this instance it means no advert data was found during your search.

Where does the data come from and why is it unique?

AVA collects data from DVLA, DoT, Insurers, Police and various structured data sets but what makes it unique is that AVA also collects real-time data from vehicle transactions around the UK and, specifically, those markets known to be used by fraudsters and others associated with vehicle crime. This is based upon current investigative and web research capabilities unequalled in the UK market. Advanced analytics and AI enable us to read trends and establish connections, previously unknown, from our unique, specialised, data sets.

Why am I asked for a claim type and whether it is a suspect claim?

AVA also acts as an intelligence hub for insurers. Real-time claims data is available to you and other insurers to prevent 'in action' frauds. Selecting 'Suspect Claim' gives you the option to receive email notifications of other insurers searches for up to three months after your initial search.
